Waterbody Rejuvenation
Restoring and maintaining water bodies in and around Tamil Nadu involves active local community participation. These efforts focus on rejuvenating water bodies by increasing water storage capacity through desilting and deepening. Additionally, the projects aim to improve groundwater levels by installing recharge borewells. By engaging the community, these initiatives ensure sustainable water management and long-term environmental health. The combined efforts lead to healthier, more resilient aquatic ecosystems in the region.
Eco-Park Construction
Exnora collaborates with partners to develop eco parks. These parks are designed with eco-friendly landscaping practices and offer recreational facilities for the community, including exercise equipment. They serve a dual purpose: providing green spaces for people to enjoy and educating them about environmental conservation.
Tree Planting Drives
Exnora organizes large scale tree-planting events to significantly increase the green cover in various areas. These initiatives involve the local community in planting thousands of trees, which play a vital role in combating climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide. Beyond their carbon sequestration benefits, trees also improve air quality by filtering pollutants and releasing oxygen. Additionally, the expanded green cover helps reduce heat island effects, providing cooler, and more pleasant environment.
Skill Development & Livelihood Creation
We are committed to helping underserved communities, especially women, thrive through livelihood programs. Our free tailoring training classes not only teach a valuable skill but also boost confidence and open doors to economic independence. By providing these opportunities, we aim to empower individuals to build their own livelihoods, support their families, and become leaders in their communities.
